Trivial Pursuit

Glossy 3D shapes on dark blue: blue globe on pink block, green atom symbol, purple wedge, yellow and orange forms

Leeds is being transformed into a giant board game to celebrate a landmark moment in its history.

Celebrate 400 years of Leeds one question at a time as the city centre becomes a live interactive version of Trivial Pursuit.

Put your knowledge of all things Leeds to the test, travelling across the city centre from category to category to answer questions and collect wedges, just like the classic game.

Remember - everybody is an expert in something.

Collect wedges

The experience will take players on a journey across the city centre, with key locations representing the six classic TRIVIAL PURSUIT categories: Entertainment, Geography, Sports & Leisure, Science & Nature, History, and Art & Literature.

Just like the original game, players will answer questions and collect wedges as they go. There’ll also be classic and junior questions, making it a great one for families, curious kids and competitive grown-ups alike.

Once players have collected all six wedges, they’ll face one final question to complete the challenge.

So whether you’re a Leeds expert, a pub quiz regular or just fancy seeing the city in a different way, this looks set to be one of the most fun ways to spend a summer day in the centre.

History is our special subject

No surprise that the Royal Armouries will host the History wedge. Our world-class collection of arms and armour and our daily programme of live combat demonstrations and performances bring history to life.

This summer we also have an exciting new exhibition Genghis Khan: How the Mongols Changed the World and an action-packed Mongolian Summer programme, including two free horse shows every day (22 July to 31 August).
