Explore the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds as never before and take part in an immersive game and escape room experience.

Developed in partnership with the award-winning Great Escape Game company, this innovative escape room experience is suitable for both adults and families with older children.

The story so far…

Royal Armouries Agents have discovered an anomaly that appears to be affecting objects within the museum. They have travelled in time and space to mythical realms to discover each object’s alternate history, but to date none of our agents have returned. Fortunately, each agent managed to send a transmission back to base before they lost contact. These messages are located in the museum galleries close to the affected collection pieces. We believe the messages will lead us to discover what happened and help return our Agents to us. So now we need your help. Do you have what it takes to find our Agents? This world and others depend on it!

To get the most out of the experience we recommend teams of 3 or 4 people. 

  • Minimum: 2 people per team Maximum: 2 adults + up to 3 children or 4 adults 
  • Pre-book before your visit or limited tickets available on the day.

Tickets

We offer an exciting 30min escape game followed by a 20-30 minute treasure trail around the museum. The experience includes gameplay and a variety of fun and engaging logic puzzles which are tricky enough to challenge adults whilst also being accessible and interactive for children.

Parental Guidance

  • All children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18 and over) at all times when visiting the museum or taking part in the escape room experience.
  • The game is recommended for 8+. Children under 5 are not permitted to enter the escape room.
  • Many children will enjoy the experience, but please be aware there are moments of darkness inside the room and the game contains replica weapons that are used as part of the experience.
