We partnered with Elliot Brown to create 150 made-to-order timepieces inspired by a one-of-a-kind object within the Royal Armouries firearms collection - the first BREN gun ever made.

Blending heritage with design

Elliot Brown’s 'Arne' range is a modern interpretation of the historical field watches from the Second World War. Given the link of the watches to that period of history, we looked in the collection for objects from that era and found what we felt to be a perfect complement: the first BREN gun ever made.

Drawing inspiration from this unique object, the Royal Armouries edition watch is layered with striking but subtle detailing that appeals to watch and history enthusiasts alike.

Authentically Unique

Inspired by one of the Second World War's most iconic weapon systems, the Royal Armouries Limited Edition Arne is packed with creative design details taken directly from the first ever made BREN gun, produced at RSAF Enfield in September 1937. 

In addition to these product design elements, historic photography of BREN guns being assembled and tested at the RSAF Enfield factory were used in the product marketing - further reinforcing the historic inspiration and links that make this watch a one of a kind.
