Workshop Content

Roman Drill

Pupils will experience the iron discipline of Rome as they are put through their paces by Titus the Centurion in an interactive, high-energy military drill. Pupils will learn if they have what it takes to make it in the Roman army, and learn how the training and equipment of the Romans won the day.

Iceni Storytelling

Pupils will be transformed in Iceni warriors, joining a member of the tribe to relive the drama of Boudicca’s rebellion. This immersive, hands-on storytelling session acts out the key moments of the uprising and is sure to get everyone involved.

After hearing both sides, pupils will choose which side of the rebellion they support at the end of the session. Great for critical thinking, speaking, and listening.
