Key storylines for 'Inside the Tower of London' TV series

Over a ten-part series for Channel 5, Lion TV meet the people working to keep the world’s most famous fortress running in the modern age.

Wanting to explore how the onsite Royal Armouries staff maintains the museum’s collection of arms and armour, we coordinated multiple filming days for Lion TV across a multi-week shooting window. This included telling the story of a spy who was the last man to be executed at the Tower and charting the journey of an exciting new collection object, with Royal ties, from delivery to the Tower to going on public display - via a premier unveiling event.

Our entertainment sector specialists supported Lion TV's team from enquiry to production - providing storyline ideas based on museum activity during the shooting window, timely access to the museums’ resources and multiple hours of on-screen time from museum staff.

Through access to research & consultancy expertise from our curatorial team, spaces at the Tower as filming locations, access to the  museum's historical archive and on-screen contributions from Royal Armouries staff, Lion TV received a simple and efficient solution to their production requirements.
