Performances

Join us for a poignant insight into life at Fort Nelson at the end of the First World War.

Time Will Tell Theatre will perform a specially commissioned play - Our Little Fort - at 11:30am, 1pm and 2:30pm.

This moving short play is about George Weston and J. Staniforth, two men who were stationed at the Fort, and wrote letters and diaries describing their time there.

'The Weston and Staniforth letters our play is based on offer a lovely personal insight into the life of Fort Nelson at the end of the First World War, offering us a personal view of what life was like for a soldier during training or when recuperating. They also give us an idea of how establishments like the Fort, built for other purposes in a different time were utilised during the war.' Time Will Tell Theatre

These performances are free.
