Once upon a time, a bear called Albert arrived at Fort Nelson for a fun and festive adventure. ​

But this was no ordinary Fort…​

Before he knew it, Albert was travelling through the pages of a magical storybook, discovering tales of enchanted forests, mystical tea parties and fairy-tale princesses.​

Now Albert Bear wants to share his storybook adventure with you! ​

Follow in Albert’s footsteps as you journey through some of his favourite stories. There will be activities to complete, games to play, and plenty of Christmas magic along the way. ​

So turn the page and step into the story!

Book a visit

  • Admission is free.
  • Please book a ticket for every one in your party over the age of 3.
  • Book an arrival time slot. 
  • You are welcome to stay as long as you wish. 
  • The museum closes at 4pm.
  • Allow 60 to 90 minutes to complete the trail.
  • Car parking: £3 payable on arrival.

This is a free event. Please consider making a donation when booking. Suggested donation £2.50. This can be changed of removed if you wish.
