Albert Bear's Christmas Adventure

Come and join Albert Bear on a fabulous festive adventure at Fort Nelson.
Your free tickets give you general admission to the museum and full access to:
- Albert Bear's Christmas Adventure and
- 'For Your Tomorrow - The People's Tribute' by Standing With Giants : this installation by Standing with Giants will be on site during the period that the Christmas Adventure is open. The installation is also on site on other dates, from 22 October to 25 January. You can book for these dates following the Standing with Giants link below.
Albert Bear's Christmas Adventure
Join Albert Bear on a North Pole adventure this festive season. Follow the trail and enjoy loads of magical activities, with fun and games for all ages.
Come and help Santa's elves in their workshops. Can you help Penny Peppermint fill the goody bags, and Gracie Giftstacker sort out the parcels? You can dress up in elf costumes, have a snowball fight, and even visit Michael Mistletoe's sleigh workshop.
Pick up your free festive trail map on arrival at the Fort, and don't forget to grab a sticker before you leave.
'For Your Tomorrow - The People's Tribute'
This installation by Standing With Giants, comprises 1,475 life-size silhouettes representing the servicemen who gave their lives on D-Day.
Royal Armouries stepped in to host For Your Tomorrow – The People’s Tribute at short notice following a nation-wide appeal for a new venue. To make sure the display is free for as many people as possible, the Royal Armouries has launched a fundraising campaign. Free- suggested donation £5. If you are not able to make a donation or would rather donate a different amount you can alter the donation amount.
You can also visit the installation on the following dates: 16 October to 30 November 2025 and 6 January to 25 January.

Please book an arrival time. We estimate that a visit will take approximately 1 to 2 hours.
10am to 11am, 11am to 12pm, 12pm to 1pm, 1pm to 2pm, 2pm to 3pm.
Fort Nelson closes at 4pm.
Fort Nelson is closed on Mondays during term time, including 1, 8 and 15 December.
