Funeral receptions are held in The Redan, formerly part of the Officers’ Mess. This elegant and private setting provides a comfortable space for families and friends to gather after a funeral service.
The Redan is suitable for a buffet luncheon giving guests the opportunity to spend time together, share stories and remember a loved one in a relaxed environment.
Fort Nelson can accommodate up to 80 guests, with ample free on-site parking available.
Food, refreshments and a fully licensed bar
We can provide a buffet luncheon for your guests, alongside unlimited tea and coffee and chilled water.
The function space is fully licensed and includes a private bar, where guests can enjoy a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks. Payment can be made by cash or card, giving families and their guests the flexibility to choose what they would like during the reception.
