Tudor Tournament
The Greenwich Armourers have been hard at work preparing King Henry VIII’s armour for his combat duel at the upcoming Field of Cloth of Gold. Disaster! Henry’s opponent, King Francis I of France, has changed the rules at the 11th hour meaning the armourers need to completely redesign the English King’s armour.

Workshop Content
Pupils will put their artistic flair to full use by embossing a new suit of armour fit for a king inspired by our world-class Tudor tournament collection. But they also need to prepare to be received at court! Learn the manners, dance moves and sword fighting required to climb to the top of the heady heights of Tudor society.
Pupils will don the clothes and armour of participants to get a full feel for life in Tudor times.
