Katie Robson

Katie Robson is the Registrar based at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.

She manages the Registrar team, which includes registrars, documentation staff and technicians.

Prior to this Katie Robson managed the Registrar team at National Museums Scotland, and while Assistant Registrar there she worked on a diverse range of loans from racing cars to cloned sheep.

Before working in Scotland, Katie Robson worked at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts in Birmingham where she was the Exhibition and Loans Officer and managed a number of incoming exhibition loans and outgoing international loans. Katie was also fortunate to work with the Devonshire Collection at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire, which displays objects from centuries of collecting alongside recent works.

Katie completed an MA in Art History at the University of Birmingham.

She is a member and former Secretary of the UK Registrars Committee, which is a forum for exchanging ideas and expertise between registrars.

Katie Robson joined the Royal Armouries in 2017.
