Royal Armouries ‘Highlights’ Tour

Join one of our expert team members for a guided tour of the museum's most iconic exhibits, including the Hall of Steel, Field of Cloth of Gold, Farewell to Arms, and the Elephant Armour. Discover the many stories behind arms and armour, exploring their roles not only in conflict but also as symbols of spectacle, diplomacy, peace, and cultural identity.

Fort Nelson

'Colossal Artillery of the First World War' Talk.

If you like your history loud, explosive and packed with fascinating facts, Sergeant Snarl of the Hampshire Regiment has his sights set on you.

In this in-character members talk you will discover the colossal artillery of the First World War, learn how Fort Nelson helped prepare soldiers for the challenges ahead, and get up close to weapons from the conflict during a special handling session.
