Illustration of Mongolian warriors in battle

This conference marks the arrival in the United Kingdom of the special exhibition ‘Genghis Khan: How the Mongols Changed the World,’ designated an ‘exhibition of national interest’ by the French ministry of culture.

It explores the interaction between arms, armour and mobility, both in the way in which mobility is balanced in design with other considerations, and in the way that arms and armour can facilitate mobility.
