Walking from Leeds railway station
The museum is approximately 0.8 miles (1.3 km) from Leeds railway station, around a 20–25 minute walk.
Leave the station and head towards Leeds Dock and the Royal Armouries.
Water taxi from Leeds railway station
For a different way to reach the museum, the Leeds Dock water taxi operates between Granary Wharf, near the south entrance of Leeds railway station, and Leeds Dock.
The journey takes approximately 15 minutes, with the Leeds Dock stop next to the museum.

Getting here by bus
Leeds bus station is approximately 0.6 miles (0.9 km) from the museum, around a 15–20 minute walk.

The nearest public car park is CitiPark Leeds Dock, on Armouries Drive next to the museum.

The car park is open 24 hours and has spaces for Blue Badge holders, electric vehicle charging and lifts. A 2.1 metre height restriction applies.

Drop-off and pick-up
Please use the designated drop-off bays outside the Royal Armouries Arena.
Do not stop in the no-stopping zone on Armouries Drive, as you may receive a fine.
Accessible parking and arrival
There are five free parking spaces for Blue Badge holders opposite the Holiday Inn, just after the roundabout, approximately 100 metres (110 yards) from the museum entrance.
Armouries Square is level and paved, and there is a step-free route from the accessible parking and drop-off area to the museum entrance.

Cycling to the museum
The museum is at Leeds Dock and can be reached by bicycle from Leeds city centre and the surrounding area. Leeds Dock connects directly to popular traffic-free and scenic cycle paths, most notably the Leeds and Liverpool Canal Towpath and the Trans Pennine Trail via the Aire and Calder Navigation.
