Hall of Steel

The hall of steel is the architectural centrepiece of the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds.

It is the largest mass display of arms and armour created since the 19th century.

  • Mortars and cannon around the walls at the base of the stairs
  • A display of 2700 objects of mainly 17th-century and 19th-century military equipment
