Spring at Fort Nelson
Book Tickets
Fort Nelson is a lovely place to visit in the spring, and this Easter we have plenty of fun activities for all the family, including a gnome trail.
Gnome trail
Spring has sprung and the Fort's gnomes are starting to warm up after a long, cold winter underground in the tunnels.
It's time to get out into the fresh air and start planting some seeds, but what kind of flowers will our gnomes choose? Come and roam with our gnome trail and help them discover which flowers will be blooming lovely!
Pick up a free activity booklet on arrival.
Farm animals at the Fort
At various times in its history the Fort has been home to farm animals.
Come and visit this Easter and meet a menagerie of animals and birds, including pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, chicks, rabbits, guinea pigs, donkeys and a dog.
There’ll be farm-themed craft activities and knowledgeable staff on hand to talk about the animals.
The farm animals will only be onsite on these dates: 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17 April, from 10am to 4:30pm.
