360 Support

Gray Zone Warfare’s ambition was to create immersive, tactical combat where every shot fired was consequential. Achieving weapon authenticity and an unwavering sense of realism was critical to the game. Everything from the appearance of the weapon models to the reload and handling animations needed to be researched and reviewed for accuracy.

Hands-on Support

The Approach

Through a close collaboration, Royal Armouries offered a bespoke package of support allowing the Gray Zone Warfare team to handle a wide range of objects from the museums collection, as well as gather vast amounts of reference photography and 3D scans of weapons.

Reinforced by direct communication and expert insight from the museum's firearms curatorial staff, who provided factual accuracy and ongoing feedback throughout the asset creation stage.
