To mark the release of the video game DOOM: The Dark Ages, games publisher Bethesda has partnered with the Royal Armouries to feature the Slayeux Tapesty.  Inspired by the famed Bayeux Tapestry, the display uses iconic imagery to depict the dynamic battles featured in the upcoming DOOM: The Dark Ages, which is being developed by id Software.

This handcrafted 11-metre tapestry will be hung in the Hall of Steel on the ground floor of the Royal Armouries Museum alongside a series of displays detailing the iconic weaponry from DOOM: The Dark Ages.

This temporary display blends medieval myth and futuristic mayhem in a never-before-seen artistic tribute to developer id’s DOOM universe.

The display can be seen during the museum opening times 10am - 5pm in the Hall of Steel on the ground floor.

Admission is free but please pre-book your tickets to guarantee your visit. 

Please note that you do not require a ticket to attend this event within the museum.
