Self-Guided Visits

Our museums in Leeds and at Fort Nelson near Portsmouth are ideal sites for exploring topics in history, art and design, English and local history. There is no set route through the galleries, giving you the freedom to plan your group’s activities. This creates opportunities for you to explore the topics and periods that are most relevant to your group.

We strongly recommend that teachers organising a visit for the first time make a planning visit to the museum. Please see the Organiser’s Pack for details.
