The Royal Armouries education team will bring history to life…right in your classroom!

Via livestream, pupils will be immersed into the Viking age. A Viking raider will put your pupils through warrior training to see if they have what it takes to strike fear into their enemies hearts. Then our resident Viking trader will train pupils in the ways of trading beautiful items for all they are worth, including beautiful pattern welded swords! After which, your pupils will decide if they should raid or trade with the Saxon English.

How it works

• Connect via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, which ever your school would prefer.
• 40 minute session with 10 minute Q&A at the end.
• Time slots to fit in with your school time table.
• Your stream will be exclusive to your school.  We can stream to 2 classes at a time.
• Pupils do not need anything prepared or any equipment with them to take part.
