‘The SAS War Diary is an icon. The fact that its existence has been a secret for over 50 years – even within the Regiment – is incredible. I can think of no better way of marking the 70th anniversary of the SAS than allowing it to break cover.’
We invite you to join us for an exclusive preview of this extraordinary record of SAS history, plus a lecture by the book’s collator SAS historian Gordon Stevens. There will also be the opportunity to examine SAS weapons from the Royal Armouries collection.
The leather-bound Diary, which measures 17” x 12” x 4”, weighs 25lbs and costs over £1,000, will be available for inspection throughout the evening. For more details about the diary, please visit www.sasdiary.co.uk
