Visitor access to the Royal Armouries Museum, Fort Nelson
Drivers are advised to access the Royal Armouries Museum at Fort Nelson from the western approach road only, between Monday, 26 April and Sunday, 2 May. Visitors are advised to follow the brown tourist signs from Junction 11 on the M27 as the approach from the east will be closed.
The access restrictions are due to scheduled road surfacing work by Hampshire County Council. Work starts on Monday, just east of the museum entrance, and will be carried out in sections, heading east. The roadworks are not part of the Fort Nelson redevelopment plans.
