Movie Monsters and how to slay ’em

The midnight hour is close at hand. Are you ready to tackle vampires, mummies and zombies? It all seems so simple on the big screen. Join our expert ghost-hunters and monster-slayers as they track down and remove pesky spooks hiding in the museum.

Join the F.A.R.T. team on an interactive ghost hunt

Not only have we got one of the oldest collections in the world but it is also one of the most haunted. Join our expert Fantasm & Apparition Research Take-down (F.A.R.T.) team as they help us identify and remove the paranormal threat. 

Interactive museum tour / Suitable for ages 5+ / Parental supervision required / Capacity 20 per tour
Daily / Tours start on the hour from 11am – 4pm / Duration 20 minutes
Suggested donation £3.50 / Book on the day at reception

Who would you chose to follow in a zombie apocalypse? Join our team as they debate the best methods for dispatching the living-dead and surviving the end of times. 

High stakes for Dracula
Vampire hunter Van Helsing faces Count Dracula in the Royal Armouries version of their final confrontation. 

The curse of the haunted armour       
Something is not quite right with the most recent addition to the museum’s collection. Be brave and join us as we investigate the potential evil within this unusual suit of armour.

Join us for a museum lecture that’s about to go horribly wrong. Look out for a supernatural gate-crasher!

Explore the museum’s extensive collection of arms, armour and ephemera from cult and classic movies, television shows, stage and more, in the Self Defence gallery on Floor 4.

Please pre-book your visit

Museum admission is free but please pre-book your visit to help us manage visitor numbers and to keep everyone safe. We do accept walk-ins but you may need to wait to be admitted if the museum is busy. Please pre-book your arrival time to guarantee your visit. Once in the museum you may stay as long as you wish, the museum will close daily at 5pm.
