Discovering the Thames daggers

Speaker: Scot Hurst, Assistant Curator, Royal Armouries

This talk will give an overview of the preliminary research into a selection of daggers from the Royal Armouries collection, all of which were recovered from the River Thames. It will explore their typology, with comparisons to similar examples, their places of origin, dates of manufacture and where they were found.
