As some of the world’s leading authorities in their fields, our curators and conservators will present an exciting range of talks on subjects as varied as the death of Richard III to the secrets behind the making of the infamous Iraqi Supergun.

A unique behind the scenes perspective through a variety of case studies to showcase different conservation techniques and the diverse challenges presented by the Royal Armouries Collection. Examples of objects include; Henry VIII’s foot combat armour, the elephant armour, the Tula garniture, Popham’s armour and the Ming sword and scabbard.
