Live and Dangerously Entertaining the Real Iron Men - Wednesday, 26 May 2010
Forget the glamour and glitz of Hollywood! At the Royal Armouries there are no special effects or CGI – just real iron men in full on live combat, doing battle in front of your eyes.
The Royal Armouries has changed the scheduled Bollywood Knights event and replaced it with another Dangerously Entertaining event – The Real Iron Men – running from Saturday May 29 to Sunday June 6 at the museum in Clarence Dock, Leeds.
STRENGTH WAR – THE CELTS V THE SAXONS
Tuesday 1, Wednesday 2 & Thursday 3 June
Experience the battle of The Celts versus The Saxons as four of the UK’s strongest men go head to head. There will be competitions throughout the day, featuring four strongmen including the current UK champion Jimmy Marku and Scotland’s strongest man, Louis MacLean.
