Dates from 650 BC | Object number: IV.541
This Greek Corinthian helmet from 650 BC is made from bronze and is one of the most beautiful shapes of helmets ever made.
Made in one piece of bronze, the skull follows the shape of the head and is
extended downwards at the rear with a slight sweep to form the neck guard and
at the sides, extended forwards at the front leaving a narrow face opening
which widens into openings for the eyes, with a nasal between.
