Over the eyes are bolted a pair of yellow metal spectacle frames, the right eyepiece mended with rivets at either side (with iron patches at the back) and at the join of the frame. IV.22

Horned helmet

Description

This helmet was made in Innsbruck between 1511-1514 by the master armourer Konrad Seusenhofer.

It is all that survives of an armour presented by the Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I to King Henry VIII of England.
