Christine Mayer CBE

Chris Mayer worked as Chief Executive of Her Majesty’s Courts Service, Ministry of Justice, from 2008 to 2010, managing a £1.4 billion operation with 20,000 employees. During this time, Christine was responsible for transformational and corporate leadership, driving cultural change, new ways of working, performance and delivery of efficiencies. She is committed to inspiring and achieving positive differences for service users and the workforce.

She currently holds a variety of roles including serving as Non-Executive Vice Chairman of the Pennine Acute NHS Trust, as the “lead” for clinical quality and excellence and as a member of the Trust’s audit committee. She also holds posts at Fiona Macneill Associates, G4S and The Slynn Foundation.

Chris Mayer became a Trustee for the Royal Armouries in March 2014.
