Catapults and Trebuchets
Pupils can get hands on experience of forces in motion through our medieval siege engine workshop. Pupils will design and test their own mini catapults and apply their learning to operate a working trebuchet.
Eggstreme Armour
In this session we examine a variety of objects from our museum collection to discover how we protected our bodies from harm in the past and how we do it now.
Using common materials, including plastics, pupils will then design, make and test a ‘suit of armour’ to protect an egg.
