In 1990 British Customs officers swooped to seize eight sections of Saddam Hussein’s new ‘Super gun’ and Arms for Iraq became a worldwide news story.

The gun’s inventor, Dr Gerald Bull, was found mysteriously murdered soon after.

When fully assembled, the gun would be over 150 meters long and be able to send a projectile into a low orbit.

Join Mark Murray-Flutter, Senior Curator of Firearms, to discover more about the infamous Iraqi ‘Super Gun’ and its capabilities.
