BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE MUSEUM
Saturday 15 June 2013
Why not give the experience of an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the world-class collections at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds.
As part of a small group, participants will meet our experts, get up close to the collections, explore the museum stores and dine in a unique gallery setting.
After an introduction to the Museum and the collections there will be the opportunity to handle original objects under the guidance of our specialist curators.
Followed by a real treat for the true enthusiast – the opportunity to explore the amazing study collections on a tour of the museum stores. Only a very small percentage of our collection is on display and this is a special chance to see the superb range of museum objects and to explore the breadth and historical significance of the collections.

The elegant Hunting Gallery Gun Room will be the venue for pre-dinner drinks and a formal three-course dinner.
Programme:
| 3.30 – 5.00pm | Welcome and Object Handling Session |
| 5.00pm – 5.30pm | Refreshments |
| 5.30pm – 6.45pm | Behind the Scenes Store Tour |
