Join us to celebrate HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Explore the treasures of our royal heritage, including the magnificent collection of arms and armour of King Henry VIII.
Jubilee Party
Tuesday 5 June, afternoon

Free tea, coffee, scones, biscuits and juice.
There will be entertainment from majorette groups and live music to dance to, provided by the band Anything Goes between 12:30 and 3pm.
The Jubilee Celebrations in London will be screened live in the Royal Armouries Hall on large TV screens all day, and the whole museum will be “jubilantly” decorated in Blue White and Red.
Royal-themed talks and tours will also take place in the museum throughout the day.
Admission is FREE and everyone is welcome

Atkinson Action Horses
You’ve probably already seen Atkinson’s horses in action without even knowing it. They regularly perform on prime-time television and in blockbuster films.
Recent credits include The King’s Speech, Russell Crowe’s Robin Hood
and Steven Spielberg’s War Horse.
Atkinson Action Horses is a professional group of stunt riders and trainers performing throughout the UK and around the world.

Fit for a King: Royal armour of the Tudors and Stuarts
A lecture telling the story of royal armour fashion, illustrated with surviving pieces. Followed by a guided tour of the Tournament gallery.
