A celebration of the 60th anniversary of H M Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation.
Join us as we celebrate the glorious occasion of The Queen’s Coronation on 2 June 1953.

Enjoy a fun-packed family day – there’ll be a street party in Cafe 1871, get crafty and make your own royal crown, plus take the Royal Tour.

Kids, come and see a traditional Punch and Judy show, have your face painted and take on the challenge of the prize draw trail? Dress in red, white and blue to receive a free treat.

Coronation Weekend

Saturday 1 & Sunday 2 June

The culmination of this week of celebrations will feature the Portsdown Artillery Volunteers who will host special tours of the Fort’s amazing tunnels and ammunition stores on Saturday. On Sunday members of local Scouting groups will join us for a campfire sing-along. Then at 1pm the Fort will resound to a spectacular 21-gun salute in honour of Her Majesty.
