See and hear the power of Queen Victoria’s heaviest guns in action as soldiers man the mighty armament of the West Haxo emplacement high up on the ramparts of the Fort.

Featuring more than a little whiff of gunpowder, the Victorian firings take place at 12noon and 2pm, with a further programme of normal daily events, including guided tours, live performances and our regular daily 1 o’clock gun.

Free admission to museum and firings, with a small charge for daily schedule of guided tours and live performances.
